Disarm and Distant the Narcissist!

Many topics are in the news and for some reason many topics have been thrown at me lately. Case in point. I recently shared a conversation with a very dear friend of mine. As we were talking on the phone, she said something interesting. I have to state for the record that, yes, of course, our topic for that day happened to be about men. In fact, the two of us where wondering where all the good men had gone since the COVID-19 pandemic had hit?

As our conversation progressed my friend, said she believed a lot of men don’t know how to be men, because they never saw a real man when they were growing up. In fact, what my friend actually said was this… “To be a man you have to see a man and not many men or young men ever get to see a real man.”

Of course, my friend’s words made me stop and think.

Another thing I should point out is that she and I had been discussing the topic of Narcissists. Of course, at the top of our list was that how could our great nation had elected a Narcissist like Donald Trump into office.

The reason we were discussing this is because we both had agreed that Narcissists do not have healthy boundaries. We see this daily with our President Donald Trump.

Because my friend and I had both dated Narcissistic men in the past. We both knew a thing or two about setting boundaries with a narcissist. The reason you have to set boundaries with a narcissist is because most narcissists lack empathy, and they have a strong sense of entitlement…
